What do Gems pay for?

Gems pay for generation and other premium actions. The generator displays the price for your selected model, quality, and video settings.

Unused Gems roll over, and you keep them after a subscription ends. Paid plans also include a discount on additional Gem purchases.

What does unlimited casual generation mean?

Pro's casual mode offers slower image generation on SD, XL, and XL+ styles. It runs at Standard quality, one image at a time, and doesn't include the newer XL 2 models.

It uses spare server capacity, so cooldowns apply and it can be unavailable during busy periods. Your 800 monthly Gems remain a separate allowance for other generation options.

NSFW AI images, styles, and pose controls

Write a description, choose a model, and set the look you want. Promptchan supports realistic, anime, and illustrated directions, with negative prompts for details you want excluded.

Pose and composition controls help define the shot before you generate it. You can also adjust expressions and filters rather than trying to describe every visual detail in the prompt.

Pro's AI Character feature lets you reuse a character's likeness across generated images. That is separate from creating a personality for chat, which has its own plan allowances.

Edit images with Tweak

Tweak lets you describe a change to an existing result. You can ask for a different outfit, a new background, or a change in lighting without rebuilding the whole scene.

A focused instruction makes it easier to work through revisions. Change the setting first, for example, then adjust the outfit in a separate attempt if needed.

This is useful when you like the starting image and want variations of it. Cloning the original settings is another option when you want a fresh generation based on the same prompt.

Text-to-video and image-to-video

Promptchan supports both starting points. Write a video prompt directly, or open an image and choose Animate to use it as the opening frame.

Motion can be automatic or described in your own words. Video settings include framing, quality, and sound, with dialogue options on supported models.

Pro includes full-length video generation and Extend. Extend continues a clip, with controls for carrying on the motion or describing the next part of the scene. Video generation and extensions use Gems.

Unpublished videos remain available for 24 hours. Download finished clips to keep them in your own collection.

The Discover feed includes companions made by Promptchan and its community. You can find AI girlfriends, boyfriends, and anime companions, then start a conversation with a character whose personality interests you.

Chat mode works as a back-and-forth conversation. Story mode lets you direct a scene and have the character continue it. Switching between those modes clears the conversation history, so choose the format before settling into a longer session.

The plan comparison includes one custom chat character on Free and unlimited custom chat characters on paid plans. Pro adds in-chat images and videos, plus the image-generation character controls.

Voice messages and calls

You can assign a voice to a companion and receive spoken responses. Paid plans open the full voice selection, and Pro includes live voice calls.

Voice messages cost 1 Gem, and the call interface displays a 2-Gem charge. Voice actions have their own Gem costs alongside the chat allowance.

Community creations and reusable settings

Explore gives you a gallery of community-made images and videos. Clone loads a creation's prompt and settings so you can use them as a starting point for your own version.

This is useful when you're looking for a particular visual direction and want to see how it was made. You can change the prompt, try another style, or animate an image instead of starting with a blank prompt.

Promptchan also has a Discord community for sharing creations and discussing the tools.

Privacy and account controls

Private generation is available on paid plans. Turn it on when you want your images kept out of the public gallery, and choose separately which creations you publish.
