Kindroid adds photo memories and group journals

The latest Kindroid update adds journal photos, shared group memories and changes to proactive messages.

Kindroid's October 28 update lets subscribers attach photos to journal entries. When a matching keyword appears, the companion can recall the image alongside the entry's text.

Photos become part of the memory

The feature works in personal, global and group journals. Photo entries allow a caption of up to 300 characters. Journal Recall must be enabled for the relevant conversation.

Group chats also get their own journals. Every companion in that group can recall those entries, but the memories stay within the group's chat and calls. They don't use space from personal or global journal recall.

What changes for users

A picture can now sit beside a written memory instead of remaining a one-off chat upload. Group-specific journals also give ongoing stories a shared reference without carrying those details into unrelated conversations.

The same release includes memory retrieval and proactive-message adjustments. The photo and group-journal features are the concrete additions to try first if you use Kindroid for ongoing conversations.
